About lactodex sachet
Hello doctors... I have 32weeks premature baby. she is 20days old now. Doctor suggest to lactodex sachet to weight gain. They told add 1 sachet to 25ml of breast milk is this safe. My baby is now 2kg. I gave like this from 10days. Tell me can I give 1 lactodex sachet mix with 25ml of breastmilk.

Hello there, yes you should lactodex sachet . Give 1 sachet dilute in 25 ml of expressed breast milk.
Do not mix with formula feed milk.
Give with katori spoon, not with bottle.
You can initially give every 6 hrly, to check weather your tolerates .
If your bbay is tolerating well with no vomiting and abdominal fullness, you can increase frequency of HMF sachet to alternate feeds. So 6 sachets in a day.
You can give till wt gain is around 2.5 kgs

yes lactodex sachet is HMF which helps in gaining the weight of your baby so you should use it
can be used in breast milk
you can give 2-3 sachet in a day
continue till his weight reaches atleast 2.6 kg
