About knee pain
Yesterday night i was playing football and felt a little pain while running at the back of my left knee since it felt bearable and minute i ignored it but by today morning i couldnt bend my knee completely(putting the leg completely straight) while walking as the back of my knee was hurting. I dont feel any discomfort or anything but i am not able to walk without bending my knee as in not able to put completely straight. Could you please tell me the reason.

Considering manner of injury and your symptoms, it is highly suspicious of meniscal injury. It could also be ligaments tear or muscle pull. Take medications and ice fomentation to reduce pain and swelling. Avoid weight bearing and give complete rest to your knee. Get an MRI after swelling is reduced and consult an orthopaedic surgeon.

It seems like a meniscus injury to the knee. At present you need a long knee brace, rest, ice fomentation ,limb elevation.
Next Steps
X-Ray knee (AP/lateral)
Health Tips
After swelling subsides, you need clinical examination and may need MRI.
