About hiv transmission
3months back  a girl i know who is hiv positive passed away and her relatives washed only forehead and legs of deadbody which is refrigerated for 24hrs by rubbing her forehead and feet by wearing gloves and then they dipped their hand with gloves in mug of water and then unknowingly i dipped my hand to pour water and my worry is i had small cuts on my thumb.Does this cause any transmission through my cuts ? pls clarify my doubt

The answer is definitely NO. Reason: 1. HIV virus existed only in her blood and genital secretions. Not on her sweat, etc. 2. It is a labile virus, doesn’t survive in environment longer than few 10s of minutes. 3. Though you have had contact with the Water with contaminated hands, the water itself was not contaminated with her blood, and so the virus. Don’t take my answer for granted. To have a peaceful sleep, get a blood test done, it WILL BE negative.
