Is the eye one of hiv transmission route
I work in a medical laboratory and I handle patient's blood every time...sometimes the blood splashes to my face and get in my eyes. Since the eyes are covered in mucous membranes can hive be transmitted this way? In short is the eye a route for HIV transmission? Explain please.
