My roommate has some symptoms of flu and is suffering from high fever and the pain.
I heard in Canada, doctors do not give any prescription for flu and just tell us to get some rest.

You can get from any medical shop without prescription of doctor
But since the symptoms could be anything other then flu please do consult a doctor and get done your friends blood test done
