About ear pain
My father aged 50+ is suffering from ear pain from last two days. Please suggest what type of antibiotics can he use to treat that.

Sir u need to show his ears on a thorough video or physical consultation, there are lot of causes of ear pain. Meanwhile u can give him tablet cefpodoxime 200 mg twice a day for 5 days, and apainkiller like zerodol sp as an when required. Also a ppi like pantop 40 empty stomach to prevent from drug gastritis.

How I wish it were so simple! Unfortunately, it isn't so! You will need to bring him across for a proper ENT evaluation to ascertain why his ear is aching and then alone can I decide how to help him out.
