From what you’ve described, I understand that you’re feeling overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts about something happening to you and negative thoughts keep plaguing your mind. I understand how difficult it must be for you to cope with this. However, counselling and psychotherapy can be beneficial for you—especially Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness Based Techniques. In therapy we can explore the root cause of your thoughts and whether or not you need pharmaceutical treatment.

Counselling can help you cope with a mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. an upsetting physical health condition, such as infertility. a difficult life event, such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress. There can be many benefits of counselling such as Improved communication, interpersonal skills. greater self-acceptance and self-esteem. ability to change self-defeating behaviors/habits. better expression and management of emotions, including anger. People may feel depressed, angry and confused (both the patient and those around them) and counselling gives the opportunity to explore these feelings. A person may want to 'protect' their loved ones and not talk about their feelings – counselling can provide a safe and non-judgmental space to talk. To have a counseling session we are always open to for you to speak anything without any judgment in a safe place, you can book a appointment with us. Hope to see you soon and take care.

Hi.... Do you have any diagnosis of your condition by the Psychiatrists that you have consulted so far. Is it Schizophrenia? If Yes, then medication is going to play a vital role in your treatment but counselling is also equally necessary to help you understand your condition and treatment. Also, Counselling works as regular breather when you are able to share your fears (rational/irrational) openly in a non-judgemental and controlled environment.
