About constipation problem
Hello sir my father has been in coma for 2 years. From last one month he is suffering from constipation problem. We gave laxitol syrup but that didn't work out. Then we gave enema that worked . Sir my quest is that can we give enema on a regular basis is it harmful ? And for substitute can we use glycerine ? Thanks in advance!

HELLO, NO HARM, BUT IT IS DIFFICULT TO MANNAGE. YOU CAN TRY LACTULOSE 3-5ml THROUGH RYLS TUBE TWO OR THREE TIMES A DAY TILL YOU FEEL IT'S BETTER. PROCTOCLYSIS ENEMA IS GLYCERIN BASED. OK , BYE.
