About cataract surgery
My father age 65 years operation date was fixed for today but on sugar test fasting 143 post prandial 270 , operation postponed Kindly guide upto which sugar levels it will be safe for cataract surgery

110 fasting 140 PP is best But can be done till 200 pp

Upto 200 sugars surgery can be done, post operatively controlling sugars is also important, can wait for 1 week ,recheck sugars and get the surgery done
Next Steps
if cataract grade is more, surgery is must , get admitted for insulin inj under a physician

Usually 200 post prandial is cut off ..u can check with the physician for fitness
