Can you please check this report? Hb1ac is 6 however the lab values say uptil 6.2 is normal. Does it differ lab to lab and test method? Shall I retest?

Your Hba1c shows that you have prediabetes. Normal hba1c is less than 5.7. 5.7- 6.4 is prediabetes and above 6.5 is diabetes.
At this stage, your condition is reversible if proper diet and exercise is followed and if you lose 5-10% weight. If the condition doesn’t improve in 3 months, then medications will be necessary.
