Abdominal t.b
I am taking medicine for abdominal t.b for 9 month but there is no change or trivial change compared to my first ultrasound and ct scan dated 1st sep, today got my ultrasound and ct scan done for reassessment, butthere is no change  in my swollen lymph nodes (in my stomach and also in my neck area). Why they are not reduced even after 9 month of medication, or it can be due to any other underlying conditions.

How it was diagnosed that is important. Biopsy and then investigation  which includes  CBNAAT and Culture sensitivity...is gold standard for diagnosis....

Hello. The most important thing is on what basis you have been diagnosed as Abdominal TB that matters. Only if Lymph node biopsy or Ascitic fluid or whatever sample is tested for Abdominal TB, that was showing either microbiological or histopathological confirmed TB, then it is comfirm TB & you need to find out why drugs were able to reduce the size of LNs, by repeat biopsy & sending the sample for genexpert & AFB culture fir resistant TB. But if on start also, if it is not proven & started drugs on only clinical bases ,then you must think about other etiologies of your abdominal diseases..

Usually the lymph nodes will regress, some times not completely. The way you have persistent lymphadenopathy, I suggest you to go for neck lymph node biopsy with Genexpert testing. Just you have to rule out Drug resistance Tuberculosis. Also how feeling are you feeling clinically is also important.

In most cases of lymph node tuberculosis the size of lymph node regresses and becam non assessible but in few case residual lymph nodes remained persist. As you described the size not reduced ...is it increased throughout course ? What was the basis of diagnosis ? It was radiology or microbiology ?
