Abdominal pain
I have been experiencing abdominal pain on the lower right side since past 2 days..I had viral fever for a week, prior to the 2 days. And my medications were amoxicillin, paracetamol and brufen for body ache. The pain makes it difficult to cough. Please advise.

Hi there I understand your concern... Possible causes include cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and cholangitis; colonic causes are colitis or diverticulitis; and hepatic causes are abscess, hepatitis, or mass,appendicitis etc...Get an immediate ultrasound abdomen and pelvis done and consult nearest surgeon they will do the needful.

Hi there...I can understand your concern. Right side abdominal pain could be due to many reasons. Acute causes like appendicitis, cholecystitis. Chronic causes like hepatitis, kidney stones, gastritis referred pain, pancreatitis, pelvic inflammatory disease. Since the pain is acute and Severe, it needs immediate intervention. So kindly consult a nearby general surgeon for further evaluation. You might be require a ultrasound abdomen and pelvis scan.
