1. Try giving her soft finger foods which she can pick up herself and eat like chapati pieces dipped in dal, French fries , soft biscuits . While she eats like this you can give her her semi solids side by side . 2. It is never a good idea to force feed . Don’t try to feed soon after a breast feed . She will not be interested as she is not hungry . Similarly when she is too hungry she will only want breast feeds and again will not accept other foods . Give her semisolids when she is in an inbetween state say about one and a half to two hours after breast or milk feed 3. Keep baby with you in your lap or on a high chair when you have your family meal even if she only plays around with food . This encourages eating habits
