8 months baby having cold & running nose
Hello, my baby boy is 8 months old, and he weighs about 7.1 kg, he has running nose and cold since last night and haven't slept all night, I have given him saline drops and gave 1mg cetrizine Cyrup in morning as provided by the doctor. Is it the correct dosage? The doctor also advised to give 1.5ml at night time. So is it the correct dosage? Please also guide on weight , is his weight normal? Or he is underweight? Thank you!

Hey there ., baby weight is upto age ! Weight should be 2 times of birth weight at 5 months and 3 times of birth weight at 1 year .. so at 8 months it is approximately okay ! About runny nose , you can put normal saline drops in both nostril every 4-6 hrly so that it is easy for him to breathe and about cetrizine drops , can be given thrice a day same dose !
Next Steps
Prevention from cold should be taken ,
Health Tips
Give warm food/fluids !
