8 days old suffering with loose motion
My 8 days old is suffering with loose motion since last 2 days. She passes watery stools after every feed whether its formula or breastfeed (attached pic for reference) We consulted 2 paediatricians. 1st one has started 3 days Antibiotics course of 3 injections ( pic of injection is also attached). He said she is suffering from infection and also asked not to give breastfeed. For 2nd opinion we consulted another paediatrician who asked not to give any antibiotics and injections to such small infant and continue giving breastfeed. Now we are confused as to which doctors we should go for. Please provide a solution

The number of motions is not important at this age,the consistency of stools is,which should be between loose watery and dry hard. Stop all medicines, maintain strict hygiene in preparation and giving of top feed, use katori and spoon,NOT a bottle. Add Enterogermina vial half vial twice a day for 5 days. Maintain regularity in feeds. Continue with breastfeeding, stop top milk feeds unless absolutely necessary. If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or abdominal distension or dullness and refusal to feed, consult your paediatrician again.
