8 days old baby CRP 9.8

Asked for Female, 0 Years

Baby is 8 days old cried excessively on 6th day, we consulted with doctor and tests were done. His crp was 9.8 and was admitted for 2 days. While discharging doctor referred to another doctor and asked for EEG AND MRI...is everything ok, why did doctor insisted for EEG. Because baby is active and seems fine.

Based on the clincal findings written by the doctor, he thought excessive cry on that day may be due to infection of the brain. So he advised EEG to rule out any abnormality in the brain. If the baby is dull and not doing good consult near by Paediatrician.
