7weeks pregnant
Hi, I am 7weeks 3 days pregnant. My doctor has suggested 7 doses of Injection Corion 5000 IU. She asked me to take the injection after every 7th day. As far as I know, this injection is given to promote ovulation. But now as I am already pregnant and my Beta-HCG is 26308 miU/mL, is it safe to take this injection. I am really worried. Please help. Thanks in advance.

hcg is not only given for ovulation, its given for luteal phase defect like in your case, support is needed to with stand pregnancy until placenta is formed in the form of hcg and progesterone tablets
