6y old boy doesn't want to do things him
My 6yvold boy doesn't want to do things himself like bathing, eating his meal etc. He is totally unwilling. Becomes very difficult especially with a 1yr old around... Kindly suggest how to incorporate independence in the older child.

It seems to be indifference. May be due to some emotional disturbance he may behave like loss of interest. It's common in budding age, but needs to be tracked and addressed. It can be well treated with counseling sessions and homeopathic medicine if required.
