6 Month Swollen Lymph Node?
I have a 2 inch hard lump on the right side of my neck that has been present for about 6 months. My primary dr said she wants to do an ultrasound and then a biopsy if it is larger than 1 cm. The ultrasound revealed the lymph node is 1.7 cm. But the lump to the touch is 2 inches. I was referred to an ENT who thinks it is my carotid artery. I am curious if there is a reason why on one side of my neck the carotid artery would be swollen but not on the other? What would you recommend I do next?

If ultrasound revealed its a lymph node...then its a lymph node...no matter what ENT doctor thinks.
Next Steps
Get a FNAC done from lymph node and get ESR and CRP levels in blood.
