  4. 5th metatarsal. Now is this normal?

Hai I had a 5th metatarsal (left) fracture and I was on cast for 7 weeks. I removed my cast after 7 weeks and now I am advised to wear an ankle bind for 2 weeks and advised to walk on my heels. I have severe swelling now Is this normal?
