I hope your baby is doing fine now, please get your baby checked with a pedodontist, they will take radiograph and confirm if permanent teeth are on its way usually by 6-7 years the permanent teeth will erupt, take care.

I feel it's better to go to a general dentist for any problems and let him give a reference to a specialist so that the diagnosis would not be streamlined to one particular area. This is applicable for both dentistry and medicine
