I am 33 weeks pregnant with my second baby and my first baby is just 10 months old. My dr has recommended betnosol injection but my gct is 150. Why is this injection given and what will be the effects of it?

This injection is given to improve the lung maturity of your baby when there is an anticipation of early delivery ..your sugar may rise a little but can be managed with insulin. Most important trust your gynaec..they always act in the best  interest of their expectant mothers
