3 month old loose motion
3 month old is having loose motion for the past 3 days. Passing stools 8 times a day. Kindly advise medicine

its dangerous to prescribe without seeing butwhat you can do is.
1.give breast feed and no bottle feed.
2.if you need top feed for baby use only lactose free formula like isomil or zerolac.
3.start ORS{the one that comes in tetra pack};give one breast feed alternating with ors.
4.usually most episordes are viral and would get over by 7 days .
5 if theres too much vomiting then meeting a doctor is important ,
6 danger signs are
a]non pessage of urine for 8-10 hrs
b]lethargic child.
c]blood in stools.
d]excessive irritability.
e]high grade fever
