3.5 yrs old suffering from extreme cough
Dear Sir / Mam,
My 3.5 yrs old daughter is suffering from extreme cough so much so that her paediatrician has prescribed Ventryl LS, Nebulisation with Budecort and duolin , omnacortil Forte syrup and Codistar syrup to her .
Her coughing is controlled by Codistar only since past two days and there r no signs of improvement.
Please advice what should I do ?
I am giving her honey also separately
Syrup honeytus doesn't suit her

One medicine is cough expectorant and other is cough suppressant, simultaneous use is not recommended. Hard to believe the combination of medicine you are using.

Sometimes the cough can be due to some foreign body too in the airways. Ideally a CXR is recommended to rule out this and it will also guide in diagnosis of cause of cough.
