2week old baby takes 5-10min feed only
My 2week old son sleeps alot during the day for a stretch of 2-3hrs at a time and doesn't take more than 5-10min of breastfeed and sleeps almost empty stomach.
He sleeps within 5mins as soon as I start to feed him and doesn't wake up even if we hit or scratch his foot.

At night he wakes up alot but sleeps again after a small feed or sometimes takes 30-40mins for single feed still stomach doesn't get full. Everytime he feeds in sleepy mode.
kindly help to increase feeding time.

Babies usually sleep more time. Check baby weight once. If weight gain is proper need not worry. They should gain weight 30 gm per day from 7 DOL.

U need to understand here that baby is not accepting feeds .. too much sucking for a duration only pacifies baby but doesn’t take care of feeding .
Need to look at urine output
How many times he passes urine
Colour of urine
How much time he takes rest post feed
Does milk drop from opposite side when u feed
