2 times ivf failure
Hi Doctor, My sis had 2 times ivf treatment but it got failed both the times. Due to treatment (injections and tablets) her tummy/belly fat is increased , hence weight also increased (64 KGS). Please do let me know if she can do squats , jumping jacks kind normal exercises to reduce her weight and to get ready for next cycle, till the embryo transfer happens ? Thanks,

First she should be assessed clinically and by ultrasound to see if there is internal swelling and residual ovarian cysts. If there is any problem then she will not be able to do heavy exercises.  Walking swimming cycling are good activities to lose weight.  Any thing more should be supervised by a trained person.

Hi So here what happens is the problem of pcod itself is getting her weight to increase. Patients also tend to take more rest which in turn increases the weight. She should definitely resort to exercise and take a diet plan to reduce the body weight which may ultimately help her conceive. The target should be to reduce aprox 6 kg in coming 2 months. Also to add something that she should really continue milder form of exercise even after embryo transfer. Too much rest may have negative impact. I wish you all the best.
