2 Stones in kidney of size 5mm & 5.5mm
In a preventive health checkup, I have been diagnosed with 2 stones in kidney in ultrasound test. The reports says as- "There is evidence of two echogenic calculi measuring 5.5 mm & 5 mm in the middle calyx of kidney". Kindly suggest what further measures has to be taken.

Guess then you don't have any symptoms as of now. These small stones are usually seen in USG scan. It could either be stones or calcification in kidney. USG cannot differentiate them. Anyway you can take measures to prevent further stone formation. Take adequate fluids. Avoid too much nonveg. Even is they are stones they are very small and should pass off in urine.
