2 fractures need some expert advise.
Hi, I had nodular acne since last 10 years very precisely on my chin area, I visited a skin specialist 4 years ago and started my treatment on actame 10mg, since then I continued it for 1 year continously then till today I use it on breaks, recently on 2nd January 2019 I met with accident and I have 2 fractures one in shoulder other knee, I need to know if that was because of consumption of actame for long period of time and is that Isotretinoin effect long term?

One imp thing is one must not continue longterm medication without supervision of expert doctor. Yes isotretinoin has been know to cause epiphysial defects of bones in kids on long term use. In adults it has been implicated in hyperostosis of bones which again can make bones susceptible to fracture, some studies show isotretinoin increases activity of osteoclasts ie can effect bone strength on long term use.
