Hello Doctor,
I had a middle finger MCP joint fracture 10 years ago. The fracture has healed completely, and there is no inflammation or pain. However, I am unable to fully bend or straighten my middle finger. I cannot place my palm flat on a surface or make a full fist.
What could be the reason for this restricted movement? Could it be due to joint stiffness, tendon adhesions, or any other issue? What are the possible treatments or exercises to improve flexibility?
Thank you for your guidance.

10 years is a long time.We are not sure if exercises alone will help.
