2 diff reports, i have PCOD or not?
I underwent abdominal USG twice from same clinic (routine checkup, no symptoms) On 11th november (16 days after my LMP) On 30th november (7 days after my LMP) The first USG suggested PCOD but the second USG said normal study. After seeing the first USG, my doctor put me on metformin daily, but didnt do hormonal study for PCOD. So do I have PCOD or not? I dont have any other symptoms of PCOD like irregular periods or hirusitism. My periods are regular. I am 5'2'' and 64 kg ( slightly overweight). Recently i noticed slight fat accumulation in my abdominal region, but its not too much. Also i noticed faint Linea nigra (not pregnant), not sure if it was present before or not. Also I have hypothyroidism, thyroxine 100 mcg since 15 years.

As u have taken metformin for 18 - 20 days that give u  a good response .....as such specific hormonal investigation is not there.....but if u want test then go fo FSH: LH ratio, oestradiol level, testosterone level, DHEA   level.....u had taken metformin for 18 or 20 day I think that help u.....if still ur in confusion then get ur USG from some reputative centre ... Continue ur thyronorm and start walking....as u loose a little weight that will help u recover from ur PCOD problem....
