1month daughter not taking feeds
Good evening sir/madam, my daughter is 1month old her Birth weight was 2.5 now in recent check up it is 3.5 she got cold few days ago followed by cough and severe colic pain from more than a week on and off its there . She's not taking proper feed from 1week usually right from birth less than 10mins she will take breast milk and sleep but from week hardly shes in deep sleep giving gap of 5 to 6hrs after every feed and feed lasts for less than 5mins . Also she poops 5 to 6 times a day little by little with lot of farts and pee 7 to 8 times a day thank you is this normal please reply if shes not taking proper feed FROM BIRTH Its only BREASTMILK with skin to skin contact thank you

hello,feed  the child every 2-3 hours. Do not keep gap of 5-6 hours. She Should feed for 10 min each time. In last month she has gained adequate weight. means  feeding was adequate. After any illness feeding decrease gradually she will take more feeds. No need o worry .Continue exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age ,monitor her weight monthly
