16 month baby switch light switches
My baby is 16 months ,he repeadtily switch on and off light switches everyday is this the sign of autism ,but he responds to his name mostly,having eye contact can sometimes imitate us but he did not have his words and not yet started to point.Is this a concern ,he eats well sleeps well .Birth weight 3.5 kg current weight 13 kg

Hi mam U should go for physical evaluation as only switch on and off light does not indicate autism If child is having eye contact, playing with others, normal in social places then it is not like autism But complete evaluation is needed to conclude diagnosis Decrease screening time to half hour, Play with child If hearing is normal and no tongue tie then some other history is also needed Weight is normal
