1 week baby feeding
Good evening madam/sir, We blessed with a girl Baby on 16th October 2022. At the time of birth baby is 2250grms. But now baby weight is reduced to 2040 grams, (Normal delivery). And baby is passing gas, and babby stomach is seem to be blotten. Natural feeding only. We looking for baby's weight to improve. Waiting for your kind health support.

Its normal to loose 10 % of body weight in first 10 days so feed ad lib with burping every 2 hourly.if baby not accepting breastfeeding well u can try feed by spoon feed also.
Next Steps
If baby continues to loose weight or doesnt accept feed well then meet nearby paediatrician

Today baby is 8 days old So, please first 15 days baby loses weight and then starts to gain weight. See that mother does not eat food that causes gases like pulses, Besan, Chana etc. Check if both sides breast are overflowing with milk, then baby will gradually gain weight

Hello , there will b weight loss after birth for Frst 7 days slowly it will increase no need to worry it’s common . No burping after each feed fir 15-20 min for gas problem.
