1 month old having sleep issues
My son of 1 month old only sleeps for 10-11 hours and does not sleep at a stretch.his birth weight was 2.7 kg and current weight is 3.3;kg He is a breastfed baby.Is the sleep issues normal or do I need to consult doctor?

He should ideally be sleeping around 15 hours atleast at this point. Ideal weight gain should be approx 900 gms in the first month from discharge.

Normally the babies are supposed to be breastfed every 2 hours. So baby not sleeping at a stretch is completely fine. Make sure the baby is adequately fed. No need to worry. Make sure baby is passing urine adequately l. Exclusive breast feeding till 6 months .
