I trusted this doctor. I have been taking medicine from last 6 months for my skin n hair problem. He gave me some steroids. Recently I got eye cataracts for both eyes that to at inner side of eye ***** *** *** ** ***** ** ********* I have to undergo surgery to remove cataracts with lot of suffer and money. I went to this doctor for NE problem *** ** **** ** ******* ******* *** **** ** **** **** *********** **** *** ******** ********** **** *** *** ** **** ******* *** ***** * **** ***** ****** ******* **** ******* When I reported about this problem, this guy said this was not occurred due to my treatment. **** *************** **** ******* **** *** *** ** ******** ***** I am 29 year old person. * **** ****** ** *********** **** ****** ********

This patient consulted me six months back. He was diagnosed to have a severe skin and hair disease. He was already on high dose daily oral steroid when he consulted me. I had reduced and tapered the dose and prescribed less than 0.5mg/Kg body weight on weekly two days, without which his condition would have worsened further. This treatment is STANDARDIZED REGIMEN for his skin condition. This minimal amount of steroids will not cause cataract. Doctors prescribe medicine only after weighing the risks and benefits. In this case i have clearly explained that i am tapering the dose and giving him only small dose of steroid and that too twice a week. As a medical doctor i understand the mental agony he is undergoing but I am definite that it is not due to the low dose weekly twice steroid prescribed by me. I wish him a speedy recovery.
