My wife had a sudden acute muscular pain in the lower back and she wasn't able to sit/bend. We saw Dr. Vanitha for the same and I must say, we were extremely happy. Not only does she listen to your problem very keenly and patiently, but she also asks you about all the details of the symptoms, recent patterns in your lifestyle, etc. She very well explained us in a layman's language as to what lifestyle habits caused the issue, what's the structure of the spine, which spinal muscles are affected and everything we needed to know. Unlike most doctors these days, she was very honest with us and suggested us not to spend money on a scan or unnecessary drugs since they were not required. During the 10 day course of exercises and physiotherapy that she prescribed, (which is going on as I write this), she even called us at times and took updates on the progress.
