Dr. Sandeep finished his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davanagere and MD in Chest Medicine from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum. Later he completed his super- specialty training in the field of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine [DM] from the prestigious St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore. After his MD he has worked as a Junior Consultant in the Department of Pulmonology at Fortis Hospital, Vashi, Navi Mumbai where he underwent training in advanced interventional pulmonology techniques.Dr Sandeep holds an experience of more than 7 years in the field of pulmonary medicine and has performed more than 300 bronchoscopies, over 50 medical thoracoscopies and Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) procedures. He has publications in various national and international journals. He has also won awards in various state level quiz competitions in the field of Pulmonary Medicine and has been a part of various research activities during his post graduation and continues to do so even now.He is very passionate about health education and believes that only education is the key to decrease incidence of Lung diseases especially in India. He is always willing to deliver the best possible clinical outcomes and has been appreciated among his peers for that. He believes and practices evidence based medicine. He is well versed in dealing with all kinds of respiratory diseases with a special interest in Bronchial Asthma, COPD, Lung Cancer, Interventional Pulmonology, Sleep disordered breathing, Tuberculosis and Lung transplant.
