Dr. Prathap H J

Dr. Prathap H.J. has extensive experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine, PET CT scan and Radioligand Theranostics. Having completed his MBBS from Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Mandya, in 2016, he went on to work in the Department of Medical Oncology as a resident for 6 months. He then completed his post-graduation in the Department of Nuclear Medicine from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai in 2020. He is a Radiological Safety Officer in Nuclear Medicine (from Bhabha Atomic Research, Mumbai) from 2021. He underwent specialized training in Radionuclide molecular Theragnostics. Prior to joining Aster group in 2023, he worked in leading Hospitals & has vast experience in handling different innovative radioactive molecules for diagnostic & therapeutic purposes. He has also undergone Theragnostic training from Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, Australia. He has vast experience in the field of Theranostics using multiple RLT tracer like Lu177PSMA, Lu177 Dotatate, Ac225PSMA/Dotatate. Having experience in both Medical and Nuclear Oncology, he is pioneer in the field of Oncology in starting treatments like 177 Lu FAP therapy in combination with chemo/immunotherapy and he his first person in the world to introduce this novel treatment by presenting at American Society of Clinical oncology 2025 at Chicago.
