Dr. Meeta Chawhan, MBBS, MS (OBG), is a senior consultant associated with Cloudnine Hospitals, Whitefield & Varthur Road. After completing her training at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, she worked with Apollo Indraprastha Hospital and Fortis La Femme, Delhi. She has worked for 2 years at Mount Sinai Hospital, USA. Post her stint in the USA, she worked with Manipal Hospitals Group before joining Cloudnine Hospitals.She specialises in pregnancy care, high-risk obstetrics/pregnancy, gynaecology, female wellness enhancement, female health screening and menopause. She is known for her expertise in handling high-risk pregnancies with a special interest in diagnosing and managing recurrent pregnancy loss and preventing & managing pregnancy-induced hypertension and gestational diabetes (GDM). She excels in the management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), abnormal uterine bleeding and the prevention and early detection of cervical, uterine and ovarian cancers.She is known to promote vaginal delivery with her emphasis on maintaining a proper balance between a healthy diet and physical activity throughout pregnancy.She believes in natural remedies and life style modification to bring about the best in pregnancy and everything beyond that too.
