Dr. Vasunethra Kasargod

This doctor fixed my lungs ong. I'd get horribly sick every year (honestly, ever since childhood) and lose days of my life to breathing issues, lots of phlegm, and pneumonia. It's not an experience one can forget, with the endless nebulizers, spacers, inhalers, medications, and hospitalizations. I saw quite a few doctors throughout all of this, nothing EVER worked out for me, the breathing and phlegm issues would just return like a ghost coming to haunt me, and I'd just given up and come to the conclusion that my lungs were weak. Until I got diagnosed here with quite a few allergies that were the underlying cause and got treated for them. Doc was well-informed , detail-oriented and all that jazz that you except from a good doctor but more than that what I appreciated was that he actually paid attention (God knows I would've been fixed years ago if any doctor even paid half as much attention. No shade to other docs but yeah). You have to wait a bit in line but it's okay. He recommended allergy tests which were positive. And then the treatment for the same began, and I recently realized that I haven't had even one extreme bronchitis or asthma episode in over a year ( hope i don't jinx it lol) and it made me tear up. It genuinely still makes me want to cry because there were times that I thought it would never go away, that I was destined to be the sick girl. Some things in life you take for granted, but I don't want to take this recovery for granted because my breathing issues genuinely affected me so much mentally as well, and I'm over the moon that it's mostly gone except sometimes in high allergen environments but in those cases the meds + inhaler that this doctor had once prescribed fix me almost instantly. I'm writing this review out of gratitude, lots of happy tears, and also to recommend this doctor to anybody who has suffered from allergy-induced asthma and bronchitis. If you're struggling to breathe hit this doc up, this guy is OG.

In April 2022, I experienced normal flu symptoms and a cough. Initially, I believed it was just a regular flu due to the changing seasons, so I decided to visit a nearby clinic. The doctor there recommended some medicines, but unfortunately, they didn't provide any relief. Concerned about my health, I made the decision to move to city in search of better treatment.\n\nUpon reaching the new city, I consulted various doctors who suggested numerous tests during each visit, Additionally, they prescribed several medications despite my insistence that I only had a common flu. To my surprise, on the first visit, he recommended that I stop taking all the previous medications and prescribed a new set of medications worth only cost Rs 30\/=. He diagnosed me with hyperventilation, stating that I was 100% fit and did not have asthma. Though skeptical, I followed his treatment plan, and to my amazement, I experienced a 80% improvement in my condition.\n\nI am immensely grateful to Dr. Kasargod for his expertise and guidance, which has significantly improved my health. I am truly thankful to him for giving me hope and a chance to regain my well-being.\

I had met multiple well known doctors in Bangalore for my asthama wheezing and cough before I met Dr.Vasunethra, the first thing I liked about him is the extra mile he travels to understand his patients symptoms well..he infact did a thorough understanding of my entire medical history on all my medication before he suggested any new medication. He exactly diagnosed my problem related to a particular medicine I was taking which inturn was creating my problem with excessive cough. The moment he changed the medicines accordingly, my suffering of almost 6+ months vanished in a few weeks which talks a lot about his knowledge and supremacy he has in his field.

Plus one more important quality which I personally liked is his genuine care for patients, he doesn't overdose you with medicines - even though most people like me suffering from a severe condition would say give me any medication but make me alright. He would smile and say I would want you to give it sometime and true to his advice my cough came to a good control, so those of you who have given up hope with asthama or any alergy cough or any pulmonary related issues suggest you please meet him once and I'm very sure you will get a sensible solution.

I generally don't write such long recommendations but for him since I'm sure a lot of people especially in a city like Banglore suffer from the asthama and alergy symptoms which can literally drive one nuts, that's why I felt I must write a good note which might help others like me:)

I had cold and cough for 3 months and its not frequently. After long hesitation and I decided to visit Dr. Vasunethra kasargod. Anyway I had afraid of visiting hospital that if they told any serious illness. As soon as entered, technician collected all illness details and suggested to do PFT before consultanting doctor. Its normal and routine test for this cause. After the results, met doctor. He clearly asked about my past medical history, current symptoms etc. Post all the validation and there is no finding in PFT. Then he suggested to have inhaler for 15 days and asked to give blood test as well. I wondered why blood test is required for the cough. But post blood test results only I got to know, Vitamin D level is low.

I really liked that he found the findings in a day and did only required tests.

And after used the inhaler for couple of days, i could feel the improvements.

And moreover, doctor speaks very friendly that gave me confidence and strongly recommend for who struggling chest related issues.
