Later, she pursued MD in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Prestigious institute "All India Institute of Medical Sciences" (AIIMS). She's specialized in providing comprehensive and evidence-based rehab care to patients of all ages (infants to elderly). She strives for the Holistic rehab in acute and subacute hospital units and in community settings. She has vast experience in handling differently abled patients and patients with pain. Her areas of interest are: Neuro rehab (Traumatic brain injury, Stroke, Spinal cord injury, Nerve injuries)Pulmonary Rehab (COPD, ILD) Cardiac rehabilitation (Post MI, CABG) Ortho rehab (Osteoarthritis, soft tissue pain, Post-op rehab) Oncology rehabilitation(to manage patients post-surgery/post radiation therapy) Pediatric rehab (Cerebral Palsy, Myelomeningocele, Muscular dystrophy) Amputee rehab (Amputee care and Prosthesis prescription) Diabetic foot care rheumatology rehab (arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis) Geriatric Rehab (Balance related issues, Osteoporosis management) She has superior knowledge and experience in using Botulinum toxin injection (with or without ultrasound guided) for various neurological conditions. She's good in handling Intra-articular injections, trigger point injection, Specific peripheral nerve block; to aid in the Rehabilitation program.
