One word to describe her - A wonderful person than just a doctor. Thank you, doctor. We'll never forget you.

Let me share our wonderful story here. Our first meeting with Dr. Sowmya Prakash was in September 2019 when my wife was 1 month pregnant.

We did the same thing as everyone does, we did a google search and Practo search to find the popular Gynecologists near us we came across her profile but we were doubtful about the facilities in the clinic and the services she offers.

But things have changed and we changed our decision to go back to our native by the 8th month of pregnancy after the first meeting with her. When I look back, it was the most important decision we took.

She is a highly-skilled, talented, and timely person. I truly respect punctual people and I see the same quality in her. She always keeps track of appointments and schedules the appointments for us. We never missed even a single one to date.

Anyway, let me cut down the story short, due to the Pandemic, everything has changed upside down and when the delivery date approaches, no one was there to help us and we were worried.

She guided us, gave us confidence, and take care of my wife, and gave her mental strength and proper advice to make everything smooth.

On the scheduled delivery date, she gave all the necessary advice and instructions to follow and we admitted to Rainbow Children's Hospital for delivery. We were expecting a normal delivery and the staff followed her instructions for induced labor. We knew that she was taking care of everything even her physical presence was not there.

The process took more time than we expected she came to us in the morning and analyzed the progress and told us to wait. She gave us mental support and encourage us to stay confident. By evening, still, there was no sign of normal delivery and she suggested C-Section took her for the same.

But, after taking my wife to OT, she decided to wait for another hour finally, at 5.45 pm, our little prince arrived without any problem.

We saw one of our family members in her and we still have the feeling.

She made this journey a smooth, happy ending, and a wonderful one.

Only one word to say doctor, wherever we go, we never forget you in our life. You are such a wonderful person in our life. Thank you so much for everything. Keep going.

We should thank our lucky star's for coming across Dr.Sowmya Prakash's profile in practo . The sail through the nine months of pregnacy was real smooth with her guidance. Her smile and motivation on every visit would have already solved every concern .I had urine retention,gestation diabetes and several other issues during pregnancy which was handled perfectly by Dr.Sowmya Prakash . She was always available on call or via message on emergencies .I used to look forward for the next visit just to get few tips and comfort from her . Never had i faced any issues with appointment . If an appointment had to be cancelled . She would have done much before in advance .She would try for normal delivery until the very last min until you really have complications . She stayed with me in the labour room for more than 2 hours and tried for normal delivery .Only when health of both baby and me was in jeopardy C section was opted at the last minute . I cannot thank her enough with words for sailing me smoothly through the difficult times of pregnacy and ensuring delivery of healthy baby girl .I would recommend her confidently to anyone who is not just looking for a doctor but a companion for the journey called mothehood.

I have been consulting with Dr.Sowmya for last 5 years. I started visiting her for PCOD and regularing my periods and today I am a mother to twin girls.

Here is my experience with her over this journey-

She listens to your problems patiently.Doesn't prescribe unnecessary tests and medicines. She explains the reports, treatment prescribed throughly that mostly you wont have any questions to ask further. She is very trustworthy and friendly and I was very comfortable consulting with her. She attends to your calls/sms/whatsapp even at odd hours. She ensures to send over sms any thing that she prescribes orally over phone, so there is no confusion.When we started trying to conceive, I had fertility issues and I conceived through IVF. She referred us to a very good fertility specialist and scanning centre. I had complications from the start of my pregnancy and I am very grateful to her for guiding me to motherhood successfully. She motivates you and the positivity in her words helps you sail through the situation.We were extremely happy with the way she arranged for the delivery at Malathi Manipal hospital.

I would continue to visit her in future for any gynec related issues and would definitely recommend her to people.

If I am enjoying motherhood today, I would credit it to her.

I was in my early pregnancy phase and my concern was with the fibroids that were visible in the scan. I wanted to consult a doctor who could understand my case and guide me with best advice.

I was reffred to Dr Sowmya Prakash by one of my colleague by her past experience.

My first visit with Doctor was really good. She is a good listener, very patient in understanding cases post which she advices on further treatment. She explained me pros n cons in my scenario.

I felt some confidence during my first visit and decided to approach her further.

As my pregnancy days were going my fibroid started growing and i had to terminate my pregnancy because of larger fibroid. Doctor helped me throughout this phase by giving her utter most attention and MTP was done successfully by Doctor without causing any issues to my health.

I planned for fibroid removal surgery with given advise from Doctor and i was confident enough she would perform it with her expertise. I m glad that my fibroid removal surgery known as laparoscopic myomectomy was also successful and was done by this doctor without causing issue to my health and now that i can plan for future pregnancy.

I am recovering from my health and in future i would like to consult only Dr Sowmya Prakash.

Doctor has good expertise in Woman'Health, she is very practical, polite, friendly, explanatory towards your problems, provides right advices, doesn't prefers you unnecessary medication, gives you confident to deal with situations. I m really lucky and happy I met this Doctor. Doctors are God they say, and this is true in my case.

I am really thankful to Dr Sowmya Prakash for taking my case and giving me confidence and best advice during this phase of my life. I really appreciate her professionalism.

Starting from the first trimester we visited the clinic, one good thing is , Madam won’t encourage/prescribe any unwanted medications, she encourages to treat the problems with natural remedies. No unwanted scans/diagnosis.she encourages 100% for natural birth and she suggests the best ways for the natural birth.

She respects the patient and listen to problems with patiently *** ******* *** **** ********* * In our case madam treated my wife as a friend in terms of suggestions, like mother in terms of caring. Madam motivates the patient with smile and friendly treatment. I didn’t find the much words to describe about her simplicity/excellency and treatment. My wife was admitted and she gets the regular updates.

Finally we are blessed with a Baby Girl , very happy and thankful for the treatment from Madam.

She is a wonderful doctor! No second thoughts at all..we have had a very good experience with her! One thing I loved about her is the fact that she doesn't over prescribe medicines.. most of the times she suggested homemade recipies for few minor issues which every woman faces during her pregnancy. Only if it doesn't get better then she used to write medicines for me. We were lucky to find her! Her visits to check on me and my baby was also great! It was not that she completely left it all on the hospital staff!!

Awesome experience. way of communication is awesome. She will explain about the problem in detail and she is concerned about her patients health too that is one of the best quality which she has. I have consulted Dr. Soumya for my first pregnancy, where in I was hopeful towards having a normal delivery, and doctor was patient and would encourage me on every visitation towards aiming for it. Right from the beginning of the pregnancy, she is 24x7 available to help answer the simplest of questions, to guide and advice on every aspect of pregnancy right from Nutrition, Diet, giving less/ no medicines and encouraging to work on holistic well being towards pregnancy care. We visited Dr Sowmya Prakash for my wife's Pregnancy care. Consultation is managed well with scheduled appointments, especially during pandemic situation. She does take care for her patients, explains the procedure of treatments & is approachable after consultation for queries. My baby girl completes one month and I must say all credit goes to Dr. Soumya Prakash. We approached doctor when I was not able to conceive after 3years of marriage and was already 35 years.She listened to our issues very patiently and suggested the right treatment accordingly.
