I have a very positive feedback for Dr Ravi. He was very helpful to us in treating our case. Actually we had multiple appointments on the same day with the doctor. One was for my sister and other was for her daughter.

My sister had sinus problem and her daughter had difficulty in breathing due to heavier cold. Doctor gave us a very satisfactory treatment. We are from Mumbai. My sister has a consulted couple of doctors in Mumbai for the same problem, but to her bad, she did not get cured there. After shifting to Banglore Dr Ravi is the only doctor she consulted for sinus treatment. His treatment has improved my sister condition to greater extent.

To be more explanatory he is a very straight forward kind of many. He always speaks open. He would never suggest operations if its seriously not necessary. Hence we had a great painless treatment.

And adding to the experience, clinical staff area also great, they know how to treat a person who comes to there clinic. The tidy clinic is and added thing here.

My experience in People tree hospitals was very very bad. Even though i had taken a online appointment and booked a dedicated slot for myself with the doctor i was made to wait for forty five minutes in the clinic. This was very bad as i was suffering from heavy viral fever and was alone alone there and tired a lot.

The staff behavior is also very worst, none of them had the concern that i was waiting in the clinic for a very long time. I also gave the same feedback to doctor when i enter his desk. Doctor said that he would take action as he was not aware of the problem.

When it comes to treatment for the viral fever, Dr. Ravi Sachidananda took a personal interest and treated me well and i am cure now. Treatment vise i am happy, but not with the waiting and staff behavior.

However the clinic is very well maintained with all necessary amenities required for a patient at the clinic and also spacious enough to accommodate more people. Doctor or the management has to take a serious call on the issue with waiting in the clinic.

After visiting him first for getting throat infection treatment for my husband, This is the second time I have visited Dr. Ravi. I was suffering from severe throat infection and pain. Not did he find out the actual root cause of pain but also gave me immediate treatment for Tonsillitis. His prescribed medication was very effective and relieved me of the severe pain I was going through from last 3days. I would highly recommend Dr Ravi for future. He is also very professional that adds to your confidence in your doctor. Would be glad to get any opportunity to thank him for doing his job at its best.

My review is based not just on one or two consultations with this doctor, but a history of surgeries and the overall attitude of Dr Ravi Sachidananda over the past 3.5 years. I was diagnosed with Sleep apnea in 2017. Since the standard treatment method,"CPAP" didn't work for me, I was referred to People Tree's ENT head(this person) by my local ENT. He did an evaluation and recommended 3 surgeries Septoplasty with Turbinate Reduction, Tonsillectomy and Barbed Pharyngoplasty. And he assured me that I would see atleast 80-90% improvement in my symptoms, which is why I proceeded with surgery. I was operated on Nov, 2017 by Dr Ravi and Dr Sandeep Dachuri at PT hospital.

All this while, this Dr kept on saying that he did the surgery really well, and that it was a great success. He never for once cared to listen to my symptoms, and my state of being. Dear Mr verified patient I read your feedback today. I completely agree that you were a patient of obstructive sleep apnoea was treated surgically after a trial of CPAP. As you had a favourable BMI and DID Not want CPAP, we counselled you for surgery. You underwent induce sleep nasal endoscopy followed by septoplasty and turbinoplasty, tonsillectomy and Barbedwire pharyngoplasty (for tonsillar level collapse) (This is the best available surgery currently for your kind of obstruction and favourable BMI). This is the best chance of reducing the disease burden by 50% (for example AHI 20 to 10 and reduces the risk of cardiopulmonary events) …If the surgery helps get the AHI down to less than 15, Patients don’t need significant therapy other than some life style modifications. You again came back with symptoms of nasal congestion, cognitive dysfunction fog, couple of times and was treated with nasal steroids. I don’t recall you bringing post op AHI results until the last consult recently (Which showed excellent AHI indices at 7 and very low RDI). You were reluctant to even show this piece of investigation until I INSISTED...!)(AHI of 5 or less is normal 15 or less is mild osa, 15 to 30 as Moderate and 30 and more as Severe) You also brought me video recording of recently done DICE from a study done elsewhere by another ENT surgeon on you. The value of DICE is to know the level of obstruction and are recommended in patients whose AHI levels are more than 15. This helps us to plan a targeted corrective surgery. The DICE study becomes irrelevant when you have almost normal AHI levels. There is enough medical literature to support this. Every patient (AHI more than 5) and also the normal individuals with AHI less than 5 with no obstructive sleep apnoea, if they undergo drug induced sleep endoscopy will show some level of airway collapse (commonly at uvula and sometimes epiglottis and BOT). I have clearly recommended Nasal drops to reduce the size of the Turbinate on the right side. From my endoscopic assessment, I clearly told you that you have a good nasal Airway on the left side and somewhat congested Turbinate on the right side, which is not unusual and responds very well to medical treatment.(You showed me a CT scan aswell which showed some turbinate hypertrophy which i showed you with a endoscope ..) You mentioned the choice of turbinectomy, and I clearly told you why I would not do this as this increases the risk of certian nasal medical condition (atrophic rhinitis and empty nose syndrome) Coming back to Symptoms suggestive of cognitive dysfunction, mental fog cannot always be directly attributed to sleep apnea especially when you have nearly normal AHI indices. This requires assessment from appropriate speciality. This I clearly mentioned to you on previous occasion and now and the appropriate doctor to see...!If you have your own interpretation of the disease why see me or any other Doctor? You have also questioned our credibility of me and doctor Dr Sandeep Dachuri. We have spent considerable amount of time training in obstructive sleep apnea surgery in UK and Italy respectively. We also run an interdisciplinary course to train medical doctors in sleep apnoea. We are proud to say that this Hospital has one of the first multidisciplinary sleep clinic with pulmonary medicine, and neuro psychiatry and dietician and yoga and to top with very good feedback from almost 96% percent of patients is a testimony to this. Consultation time is 15 minutes for all those who consult me. 20 minutes was is your consult time (for which I carefully listened to your concerns as well as done an endoscopic nasal examination) I also told you 3 important things for your treatment and how your symptoms can be alleviated. We cannot extend times as there are many patients waiting with specific time slot and we CANNOT INCONVINIENCE others. You did mention that you have seen 15 ENT specialist for your current problem. I went at 1pm on 22nd july and that was the appointment given. Not much hassles in getting to meet the doctor. But he was in total rush with the lunch box ready. When I was describing my problem of have bf sore throat and probable reasons I thought of it .. he said don't worry .! Nothing is there to be seen and just drew a sketch of tongue and tonsils and rushed out without even a prescription. Absolutely no patience to hear it out or look out. 3 days later, today (25th july), I've a really bad throat pain and see cream coloured infected patches on the sides of the tonsils.

When u go to people tree hospital to meet doctors like this, you need to pay 350-400 rupees up front to have a Darshan of the specific doctor. And the doctors can't even spare to spend 2 complete minutes with the patient.

Extremely pissed with such doctors!

Thank you for the feed back Dear Binoy,, I remember seeing you on the said day.You were booked as add on emergency at 12:24 on the same day.You were not on the list of appointments and YOU had to be seen between other hospital appointments.You turned up at 1 00 pm and I saw you immediately .Our 15 minutes consult discussed your sore-throat and i did explain that your problem was not serious enough to start antibiotics and only recommended Paracetamol. We strongly believe in dispensing medicines as much as necessary( no room for unnecessary medicines,investigations or surgery). The hospital provides opportunity to see the doctor again if your symptoms worsens for the next 7 days free of consultation fee. Regarding consultation fee People Tree HOSPITALS is one of the affordable Hospitals in the region and we charge a nominal Consult of 350 rupees. A taxi drive to Airport is 800 RUPEES, Lunch next door is 400 to 500 and even a hair cut costs 300-400 rupees and you do not need 30 yrs of hard training for any of this...! THANK YOU

Visited For Vertigo Treatment

I was horrified at how roughly he conducted tests on my senior citizen mother who already has vertigo. Also spoke to my mom like she is senile!

Here's a list of everything that went wrong:

- He rushed through the diagnosis,

- Used a load of medical jargon in his explanation to us

- *** *** ***** ** ******** ***** ** *** ***** (wrote 2 days where we had said 1 month),

- Assumed my mother has hypertension (even after we clarified she doesn't, and that she's not on any medication for it either)

- Casually dismissed our questions on whether it was possible the vertigo could be caused by other factors like Covid, and insisted it is migraine-related. My mother has not had a migraine in a long time. He still prescribed migraine prevention medication.

All of it, including the rough handling during the vertigo test, took approx. 15 mins. He couldn't wait to call in the next patient.

Maybe we caught him on a wrong day, but I'm just surprised and angry with the whole experience. Drove 2 hours back and forth to PeopleTree to consult with him only because we had such high expectations from the reviews here.

Identified my problem (unbearable temple headache ) and stated that it not related to sinus but might be related to migraines or sleepless . medication worked like magic and my problems resolved in first visit it self . for same problem in other hospital people wants to make a sinus surgery which involve removal of some cheek bone .

luckily , i find the doctor at last minute , my problem resolved with some tablets which he prescribed .
