We consulted Dr. Ramya KS for my first pregnancy and our experience has been wonderful from day 1. She is a very understanding *** ************ ****** and answered all our queries patiently. Never once did she seem like she was in a hurry to finish our consultation. Since I had a low risk pregnancy and no other complications , we were hoping to meet our due date. However, 10 days prior to my due date, my water broke and I had to get admitted in the middle of the night. The night shift staff/doctors coordinated with Dr. Ramya observed me for some time before shifting to the room. In the morning, I was induced for natural delivery since dilation was less. Once the contractions picked up, I was moved to the Labour ward. But after trying for a while and not seeing much progress on the cervix opening, baby’s head position, and baby’s varying heart beat, Dr. Ramya checked with me if I would want to opt for a C-section or wait for a couple of hours to do Vaginal delivery. Since I was weary of taking a risk with the baby, having come this far, we opted for a c-section. Dr. Ramya was there with us steadfast during the entire process. Our baby was successfully delivered through c-section within 45 minutes of me giving my consent. My husband was allowed to witness the delivery process. Our baby came out healthy and that’s all that mattered in the end. I would highly recommend Dr. Ramya to all women seeking special care during their pregnancy journey.
