Thankyou for kind words As you mentioned you presented to our clinic for gastritis, burning sensation etc; which is suggestive of gastric ulcer, as part of evaluation to rule out pancreatic-biliary pathology we request an ultrasound abdomen. Clearly small kidney stones will not cause any of these symptoms, many a times if a significant kidney stone has been found, I myself give the Urologist number and refer the patient there, so most probably the stones were small and would have asked you to drink plenty of liquids so that the stones will be flushed in urine. We make it a point to give adequate time to each patient, some patients require more time to evaluate their problem and to also clear their numerous doubts, and questions If there is an emergency which comes in between, it will also be prioritised There are at times a little delay in seeing patients, which definitely is not intentional. Our receptionist is with us for the last 4 years, she has been trained and does a good job Believe us it is a very difficult task, as many a times, the patients are very uncultured, arrogant, use very unparliamentary words, which might evoke a muted response ( as advised by me) to avoid a confrontation, which is taken as rude. Our turn around time for routine laboratory reports, biopsy reports etc are the fastest in industry as we have an in-house pathologist, unless it is a specialised test, no question of delay; a hard copy is always given, in hand of patient because that gives us a chance to explain the findings and clarify doubts. Not that we give you a soft copy by email and then ask you to search the answers. Unless the patient or patient’s party is unusually arrogant, the receptionist does not even talk, So please do reflect on your behaviour when at the clinic God Bless you with good health.
