Visited For Cavities
Dr.Nandini advised that I should get a cleaning done so that the problem of the cavity could be understood better. I went with her advise but before she started I requested for the cost estimate. She mention that Simple Cleaning would cost Rs.3600/- in total and Deep Cleaning would cost 6500/quadrant and would be done by administering anesthesia. She also informed that she would start with simple cleaning and advise me if deep cleaning is required. The cleaning started after these inputs were provided. After about 30 minutes there was a break for me to cleanse my mouth and she menstioned that she had been able to do deep cleaning without anaesthesia and that the job is almost done. After another 15 minutes the cleaning activity was completed and I was advised that deep cleaning was done in 2 quadrants. I felt cheated as I would need to pay Rs.13000/ as against Rs.3600/-. Not wanting to fight I did not contest. I was seated at the reception when she came again and mentioned that there was an error and that the cost has gone up further and I ended up paying Rs.15000/- for cleaning. I feel Curaden and particularly this Dr.Nandini cheated me and I will never go there ever again. In fact I will post this on social media shortly.
Doctor was good. But I strongly believe the charges in this clinic is obnoxiously expensive compared to other equally good Dental clinics
