Dr. Lokesh B

Dr. Lokesh B, currently head of department of Neurology at Aster CMI Hospital Hebbal, Bengaluru, has trained in cerebrovascular Sonography from National University Hospital, Singapore and the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA. He has also obtained training in peripheral nerve and muscle sonography from the Institute of Neurology, Italy and Netherlands. He obtained his medical training MBBS, MD in General medicine and DM Neurology from Kasturba medical college, Manipal, India. He joined as a faculty for four years at the same organisation. He later joined as Associate professor and was promoted as Professor of Neurology at Narayana medical college, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.He cleared the comprehensive exam in applied physics, carotid duplex and transcranial Doppler conducted by the American Society of Neuroimaging in 2011. He is an invited speaker for workshops on Neurosonology both in India and Asia. He is the Secretary-General for Society of Neurosonology.
