Dr. Hemalatha Sanjay

Dr. Hemalatha Sanjay is an experienced dentist. I've been visiting her for over 10 years for various treatments, and my family has also received care at her clinic. The service is good and the clinic is clean, though I wish prices were a bit lower.

Dr. Hemalatha is definitely one of the best orthodontists in Bangalore. I'm undergoing a braces treatment by her and am extremely happy with the progress.

One of my upper front teeth had chipped off in an accident and I also had multiple wide gaps between them. Before taking her opinion, I consulted 2 other dentists who simply for the sake of making more money, advised me to get a cap by grinding off the half chipped tooth along with the braces treatment. I would have started my treatment at either of them but luckily for me, I decided to take another opinion and booked an appointment at her clinic via Practo. Only she suggested a non-disruptive way of treatment to sustain my natural tooth without compromising on the final outcome.

She is extremely well spoken and explains everything in a very calm and composed manner. She explained me the entire treatment plan and the challenges one faces with braces. She patiently listened to my every query and cleared all my doubts. It is evident that she really cares about her work and diligently tries to achieve the best possible result. She treats every patient equally and doesn’t haste in her treatment or talks. Unlike other clinics where orthodontists visit once a month, she is available 24-6 at her clinic. It is a great plus point in case of emergencies.

The clinic is very well equipped and the entire experience there is quite decent. The only problem is that appointments don’t start on time and I normally have to wait for a sufficiently large amount of time ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. The fees is a bit on the higher side but in my opinion, is justified for the treatment she offers.

Visiting a dentist was a tough decision, I was afraid of those sharp and fast moving equipment’s in the dental clinic. Dr. Hema Sanjay inspires the utmost confidence by explaining the producer very well, in a crisp and clear manner. All my fears were put to rest and the treatment was a great experience. By the way the clinic environment is very welcoming not to forget the staff.

if the wait time can be reduced it would be still nicer.. we feel we need to wait when we come there to the clinic.. please stick on to the time given as we would have left all our work and come over there.. and + or - 10-15 mns not an issue but we end up waiting more than an hour sometimes !!

I got new denture for my father from Dr. Hemalatha and I found she’s very friendly, very co-operative always available, caring and ready to answer all the questions, following up with us after the treatment to find any discomfort. I will definitely recommend her ....

The doctor doesn't value the time of patients. The appointment gets delayed most of the time. Initially the treatment was good but, the treatment was cut-short without providing the retainers, despite making the full payment. Preferential treatment is meted out to patients. It is a well established fact that retainers have to be worn immediately after the removal of braces, but the doctor is dismissive about it. Overall had a very bad experience.

The Doctor is very knowledgeable and is sensitive to the children's needs. She was able to make suggestions on how we can manage my son's braces better. She helped us with options that minimised the incidence of mouth ulcers (which my son was prone to).

We would gladly recommend the doctor for anyone looking for braces for their children.

This is nearly the 4th scheduled visit, and in between scheduled visits, have been to her about 3 times for minor corrections.

The best plus point is that She understands our problem in the first instance only. Explains us the procedure that she is performing, give us guideline to expect and follow in the course of her treatment.

A very nice experience. She is always patient enough and hears to the problems, comes with the solution after giving a good thought, and her experience is a added advantage.

This time there was some emergency she had to attend to and therefore we had to wait. Do not mind that - as we have to respect the emergency situations.

I won't comment on the doctor as I had been there only once but the services by the clinic employees have been poor.

No bill/invoice provided for an x-ray done and the consultation.

The x-ray has not been mailed yet (2 days), in spite of me calling and following them up for 4 times.

They are not sharing patient data (xray) with the patient.

I ll not recommend this clinic.
