I have given good feed back about my experience with Dr. Chandrashekar initially. He was good in talking and seemed sincere.

The subsequent visits to him made me no good. So many tests but he conitued to give me Steroid tablets. All tests found negative.

He claims that he has 34 years' of experience but he could not cure my cough. I do not wish to continue with his medicines.I wish him good.

I had continuous cough day and night when we were in Bhadravathi. We consulted many Doctors in Bhadravathi, Shimoga and Davangere. I had also taken some Ayurvedic medine. This did not yield any result except increasing my cough. I thought my life will end with this cough. But there was no use. This Doctor had saved the life of my father-in-law who had lot of phelgm and finding difficulty to breath. As per my husband's direction i met with this Doctor and the result was wonderful. Highly disappointed with services of the doctor and hospital. An extremely unfriendly attitude by the doctor. After reading positive reviews, I decided to take my mother to Jain hospital for a checkup. I called the hospital at 3:30pm and enquired if I can get an appointment. They asked me to come and meet the doctor. After paying the registration fees of 400 rs, I went to the pulmonology department at room33. The receptionist sent the file to a junior doctor who did the assessment for my mother and asked her to undergo an X ray. Within 15 mins we got the x ray and gave it to the receptionist. The receptionist came back and asked us to take a PFT. I mean how can a receptionist tell us to go and get us a PFT test done even if it was told by Dr HB Chandrashekar. Is he that busy to spare 5 minutes for my mother? Then why is he even taking appointments to consult patients if he cannot even spent a second to see a patient. We insisted who asked you to tell us to go and take PFT and these receptionist got bit apprehensive and took the file again to the doctor room and probably told him that the patient wants to see him person. They asked us to sit outside his room and 10 mins later 5 junior mbbs doctors stood outside his room and one of them called us inside. This is when the doctor starts looking at our reports. I mean how callous attitude can this be from a doctor who I thought was a excellent pulmonologist. He might be a great doctor but if he cannot spare a concern for patients, trust me that respect we have seems to have lost. He asked few questions and did a checkup and directed us to get a PFT even after seeing the x ray and telling us there is nothing wrong in x ray. We paid 650 rs for PFT that was done by juniors who struggled to even type the parameters in their computer. We were made to sit outside for 15 minutes and then the doctor comes outside and he hardly doesn't even care to check our reports until one of the junior doctor voluntarily shows the PFT reports. The junior doctor then writes the medical prescription and hands over to us. Dr Chandrashekar doesnt have spare a second even now to tell us what was right or wrong in the PFT results until I myself went up to him and asked is everything normal and he says there is nothing to worry. Inspite of this, they prescribed us medicines worth 1033 rs. I have no clue why their service was so pathetic and why this doctor has zero concern towards a patient. We ended up paying nearly 2300 rs for this patheitc service. I could have visited a local doctor instead of coming to this doctor who seems to be in hurry to go home and has no care for a patient. I could have said this right on the face to them. But I was dignified enough to tolerate the poorest of the poor service. VERY VERY disappointing and shoddy service
