Dr. Monika Pansari is one of the few registered female surgical oncologist in our country with a special interest in breast and gynaecological oncology. Her utmost priority being a female onco-surgeon is to help other women fight cancer.She is specialist in the management of all breast and gyanaec cancer surgeries.She completed MBBS and MS (general surgery) from prestigious, Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior. She had excellent academic record throughout and was awarded university gold medal.Following that she pursued her career in Bangalore and served as assistant Prof. in the department of general surgery in St. Johns medical college for almost 4 years. During this tenure, she underwent training in minimal access surgery and was awarded FIAGES for the same. Subsequently, she pursued DNB in Surgical Oncology from Manipal Hospitals. She has in total of more than a decade of experience in general surgery and in the field of surgical oncology for more than half a decade.She performs not only simple general surgical and laparoscopic procedures but all advanced surgeries like • Breast conservation surgeries, Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), ROLL, Reverse axillary mapping/scintigraphy, Breast reconstruction after mastectomy in collaboration with her plastic surgical team etc.• She has been trained to handle complicated, advanced malignancies of an ovary, uterus/endometrium, colon etc.• She has received special training in performing major cytoreduction surgeries and HIPEC for peritoneal surface malignancies.

Today was the third follow-up for my mother ‘Bhagya Raman’ at Manipal Hospital, Kanakapura Road and I would like to share my *** story ** *** ************ ********* ** *** ******. We were asked to show up at 12:45 for an appointment at 01:15 PM. We were told that an ongoing surgery is delayed and the doctor would see the patient at 02:00 PM. Since this is normal for a surgeon, we decided to wait. Less did we know that this wait would go on till 04:00 and the doctor never showed up nor did she give any information to return another day. We learner surgery was done at 02:00 and then it followed a break, ***** *** * ****** **** *** *** ******. We are highly disappointed with this practice by the doctor * *** ****** ** ** ** **** * ** **** *** ******* ******* *** **** **** * ****** I request the hospital management to take notice of this. ** ** *********** ****** ** ********* ****** *******

Hoped for better: Treatment satisfaction
The doctor didn't have patient to listen to my all health issues and she couldn't reply to my health related issues and her answers were not definite but like may or may not be .... Visiting her was not worth of time. Though she saw my reports but couldn't tell why m I getting pain in my left side of pelvic. I had taken appointment for another gyno oncology at Mazumder Shaw Hospital
Dr. Monika Pansari who is a surgical Oncologist, is incredible and top-notch in her area of expertise. Doctor has treated my mother for the breast cancer. She is a keen observer and a listener; she particularly understands the emotions and feelings related to an illness in the family. She is a wonderful human being with lot of empathy for her patients. she inculcated lots of confidence into the patient. She is approachable and always available for her patients. Under her guidance my mother has fully recovered from breast cancer surgery and treatments. We are very happy that my mother has undergone a treatment in safe hands. *** ** ** ****** ******* She knows her stuff, she is experienced in this field and she is good at it. I will recommend the doctor to others. The staff was helpful but the ward people need to improve. The patient ward facilities need to improve a lot they need to meet the expectations and the nurses need to be more educated they don’t know simple things that are very frustrating. The doctor is very nice and she knows how to talk. She has that personal touch. The suggestion she gave was helpful. I am satisfied meeting Dr. Monika.

I had met the doctor and it was health issue related to extra growth of cells in chest area. ********* *** ***** Consultation experience was fine and she gave all details well. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends. I am satisfied with the treatment given. Medicine was recommended by the doctor. Medical tests was also done and I have shown reports to doctor. I am good. Doctor told that it will take time to cure. Hospitality was good.
